I have a set of AFR 205's sitting here in my room. I also have a set of forged Probe Pistons. The big question is do I need to fly-cut my pistons. Have any of you guys had trouble. The cam isn't too big, Around .575 lift. Any input would be great!

Don't your Probe Pistons have valve reliefs in them? If not, Then I'm sure you'll hav eto get them fly cut

Most standard aftermarket piston will take a 2.05 valve with no issues, best to check with Probe for the specs.

It's not the lift that will get you it's the duration.

The probe pistons I have have huge valve reliefs, But It still bothers me and Im taking the stuff to the machine shop tommorow, I will check it anyways when I get it back but if I knew for a fact that it would need to be fly-cut it would make for a lot less time and one less trip! I think the 205's have 2.08 valves too, they are huge and big, And atop of that I had another CNC program ran through them so they flow even more, Mainly exhaust side since I have boost! Any more input?

Engine Suggestions on an engine rebuild. Stock cam/GT40Ps or aftermarket on both for a fun weekend driver?
