cut the cats?
hey, im new to this site and joined yesterday but heres my first post: i have a 97 cobra and i think my catalytic converters are bad. the o2 sensors are also making the check engine light come on. my mileage is low enough for the dealership to replace all of them(converters) for free but if they arent i get stuck with a $90 fee for looking the car over. ive asked a few people about cutting the cats but most responses have been that it will mess up my computer and its not worth it. so is it okay to cut the cats?
