I am so confused...
Can a 1998 have the speedo calibrated with a gear or a speedcal?
I found this quote on
www.brothersperformance.com/shop/mustang/brospeedcal.html
"can also use on 94 - 98 Mustangs instead of a speedo drive gear"
1998 GTs use gears and speedcals?
My 1998 GT is alot different than my 1985 Mustang, everything is so different!

Yes, 99+ models use an electronic sensor with no gear.

Don't even think about it. Get the SpeedCal. The speedo gear will always be off and will eventually get chewed up and may leave you stranded somewhere. I hold the world record for a speedo gear swap: 13 months. Get the SpeedCal right away and save and use your original speedo gear.
