I took the old exhaust recirculation (smog) line/pipe off the back of the stock cylinder heads and there wasnt a gasket where it bolted on when i took it off. So now I am getting ready to re-attach to the new heads and wondered if there are suppose to be gaskets there or not? I hope i explained what I am talking about clearly enough. Thanks for the help!

You did not do anything with the Exhaust Gas Recirculation system. You did do something with the Thermactor Air System (smog pump) which is a completely different and separate animal. See http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?p=6957647#post6957647 for an explanation of the differences and functions of these two systems.
