Has anyone used these or still use them? Are they actually worth the .3 seconds faster E.T. really I just want them so sometimes I can have the loud car on the road. They say easy ubolting of the wingnuts and a lot more noise and more power, well how long do the gaskets hold up for when taking on and off? How easy are they to take on and off?

Have had the flowtech ones on 2 different cars but never on my stang.

Had one of them on my 96 Z28 and it was pretty cool. Never leaked at all. Very easy to unbolt (they send you a nice little tool for that). The gasket is really thick and there is a flared flange that it seals to so there is really no chance of it leaking much unless the welds were lousy.

I also have 2 of them on my 383 powered 57 chevy. They are bolted right up to the collector and are FREAKING LOUD when off. 450 hp - mufflers = LOUD. They have also never leaked.

Lots of fun but I doubt .3 second quicker ETs. It also might sound sort of crummy on certain mustangs. I really like the electronically opening ones too.

The electronic ones are great. My brothers ranchero has duals that exit out the rear, then dual cut outs the exit before the rear tire, to blow the doors off of any car that wants some.

There are some good ones at D and D motorsport (or something like that, I dont remember the exact website. They are about 300.00 for a pair.

There are some nice ones at Dougs Headers (also dont remember the website). But they are alot more expensive but Stay David from trucks uss them!!!

You need the flowtech cutouts first though for the and D cutouts. They bolt onto those.

i had cutouts on my 93 cobra. it was easy to install and when i wanted it to be loud it was easy to open up. i had a stock cobra so i think that the cutoffs really didn't help with the speed or anything because i didn't have enough back pressure. remember back pressure gives u horsepower so if u have a stock setup then it might not be to ure advantage. thanks.

ive gotten the cutouts from jegs before, real cheap and free shipping. i have not had any problems with them and will continue to use cutouts over any aftermarket exhaust setup.
