This seems like it would be sweet. I know its probably for racing but when I feel like having my car be super loud with the pull of a cord.. maybe a few extra horses when I want them.... how sweet would that be.

Does anyone have these?
where would they go on your exhaust system?

if you want a cutout get a Qtec Electric one, you'll need two for a GT, and that would run about 300 bucks. They open and close with just a switch.

I third on that. They are sh**, I had them on my car. They are sweet when wide open, really loud, when closed they leak horribly. I would not recomend them at all.

I would imagine that they all leak if they use a pivoting circular baffle to switch the flow. How could that make an effective seal in the exhaust system, especially after if gets dirty and corroded over time.

Sounds great on paper but probably sucks in reality.

I have never actually used them so I am not speaking from experience...

Additionally, I would never install them on MY car.

they have to go on after the cats. i have a dumbass friend whos parents bought him a 02 camaro SS. he gutted the cats and then had cutouts put on before the cats. he cut the eibach lowering springs and as a result the solenoids keep scraping on the road. his car sounds like ass now because the the solenoids broke with the valve half open.

i would never run them, you actually lose power with them in certain circumstances.
