Ok heres my exhaust combo. BBK Long tube headers, BBK X pipe with high flow cats, and 2 chamber flow masters. I just had the X pipe installed, and I am disappointed with the sound. It was louder with the same exhaust, but the stock H pipe. I don't understand. Why do you think its like that?
Actually, like mentioned, if you want the car louder, remove the H-Pipe. I actually laughed at the difference in sound when I put took my Bassani X off and put the stock pipe back on for emissions.

No......, The problem is that you have an X-pipe with chambered Mufflers, you need to get a straight through muffler like bassani. that's why this H-pipe sounds good with flowmasters.
that plus you still have cats, you should have just gotten an off road.
