Well, if you like what you've got and don't mind getting rid of your tailpipes, you could always dump your exhaust in front of the rear axle. That's always a sure fire way of making an exhaust system louder. The drawback to this is, of course you don't get to look at those nice shiny tailpipes anymore and you may end up stinking out your car with exhaust fumes in stop and go traffic.97gtblue said:lol yeah. i dunno i might stay with what i got, caus ei get alot of complemnts on my exhaust its loud when your standing behind it and someone hits the gas
Malevolyn said:You can do it for really cheap. Here's how:
Go to a junk yard and find a couple of those big 50 gallon oil drums and take the caps off.
Now, look under your car at the mufflers. Next to the outlet pipe there is a debossed circle. Get those cut out so that the oil drum caps fit into them.
Now, when you want your exhaust to be louder, just uncap the mufflers and you're ready to go. Doesn't even make the sound raspy, just amps up the volume.
A more indepth version of that process is here.
That’s essentially doing the same thing as the "dumps" I described above do. The difference being is that the dumps will direct the hot exhaust gases away from the rear end and more importantly, the rear brake lines.Malevolyn said:You can do it for really cheap. Here's how:
