come on guys. i need some opinions really bad so i can buy exhaust as soon as i make up my mind.

p.s. right now, i have a bbk o/r h-pipe and flowmaster 3 chamber cat-back. i do like this sound alot, but i am getting longtubes which means a new midpipe. i'm not too worried about the couple of horse power difference b/t the options, so vote for which one you think would sound the best.

here are some thoughts.

i am a little reluctant to get longtubes, bbk o/r h with the 3 chamber cat-back i have now, b/c i think it will be slightly quieter, especially at idle and i don't want quieter. i have heard many times before that longtubes are quieter than shorties. i wonder exactly what the sound diff. would be with my same set-up except for longtubes. i assume it will be quieter at idle, but maybe a little deeper sounding.

also, i am wondering how loud the bassani set-up would be. i would probably say it is louder at wot but quieter or equal at idle and cruising than what i have now.

And obviously the prostreets would be loud.

i have probably heard more sound clips and videos than anyone (almost), but most of them don't do justice. they just give a slight idea in my opinion. i wish i could get about 20 5.0's lined each with a diff. set-up. that would be awesome.

Flo Pro just get some LTs and a prochamber and be done with it. 2 chambers arent going to be much different that your 3 chambers and you like the Flow sound anyways. Not to mention if you ever wanna swap out the flows for something else, the rest of your system will be fine since the prochamber is a great piece for virtually any muffler.

4.Flowmaster, 82db at idle, 93 at 2,000 rpm, 115db at WOT.
10.Bassani Real Street, 84db at idle, 96db at 2,000 rpm, MAX. (120+db).

Every three db's the sound level doubles, so cruising the Bassani's would be twice as loud as the flow's. Also I would think those #'s are the 2 chambers, and slightly louder than your's already. I like the sound of both, but would get Bassani.

HOLY CRAP A LOT OF PEOPLE VOTED!!! It says the thread was only hit a little over a hundred times but it has 737 votes???? WTF is that all about? The SLP is supposedly one of the loudest available now, it has NO mufflers, only resonators. With an offroad pipe I think it'd be too loud if there is such a thing.

thats not actually true....i have Bassani headers o/r x and catback...and cruising and at idle its pretty calm...very little drone....but once you hit the "go pedal" all hell breaks loose! :flag: ....even though its not on the list i vote for Bassani....nothing better exhaust wise...PERIOD...

Sorry, my post was in reference to the mufflers only (the numbers are directly from the shootout in the faq section). Their numbers would be different based on their midpipe and headers, however the db fact is true. Maybe the lack of drone makes them seem quieter inside?
