I love the sound of my GT but I would like it a little louder without drone. My brother has an 06 with the corsa axle backs and it sounds great(he has the louder ones) I have also been looking at the FRPP GTA and GT5 axle backs. I like the idea of getting a ford factory offered part but don't know if I will like the sound as much as the corsa. Anyway I know exhaust has been beaten to death but I just wanted to post a poll to get an idea on these.

i've never heard the corsas in person. does anyone have any clips that do the muffler justice?

i have scanned through the exhaust set up thread, and listened to a clip of the corsas, but it didn't do anything for me. it may of just been the camera or whatever though.

I love my Steedas. I paid little over 400 for them.

Edit:

Posted this before but always a great reference alongside youtube.

I think the bassani's are very comparable to the corsa's and are slightly cheaper. I am leaning towards bassani right now.

I have the FRPP GTA's and love them. Nice throaty rumble, ZERO drone, cool 4" SS tips that fill the cutouts much better, weight 12 pounds less than stockers and are very resonably priced. Even the guys in my local club (who are wacked out Mustang fanatics) have made mention on how good they sound. Funny thing is though,,, when I tell them they're GTA's they get a disappointed look on their faces especially when I tell 'em I only paid $299.00 at Ninosport instead of $849.00 for the Corsa's. I know I'm a cheap b*****d.

My car is a daily driver, good for about 80-90 miles on the highway. First I went with Flowmasters. It sounded awesome. Then I added an X pipe. I was pulled over within 3 days and had had enough of the drone and "ricey crackle". Not what I was after, I wanted the old mustang sound back. Throughty not ricey. So I pulled the Flowmasters off and put the stock mufflers back on. (Remember, the car sounded pretty damn good when you first got it.) Now, the car sounds great off the line, there's no drone on I95, and when you romp on it, it sounds awesome. Plus it's a much cheaper route to go...

I was in Delray Beach on A1A one night and got pulled over. I just figure, this car is begging for attention just sitting there. No need to add sirens and flashing lights to the equation with an extremely loud exhaust. I had quite a history with street racing, and speeding, and burnouts, and loud exhaust. I got into trouble and it cost me a bunch of money. When I'm at cruising speeds, my car sounds great and when I romp on it, it sounds awesome. There's a time and a place. I just didn't want it that loud all of the time like I had in the Fox-body days. I'm 33 with a family and a career now, maybe I'm getting old... I still love Mustangs and racing and always will, maybe it's just a new chapter. So now, I hate to contradict myself, Enjoy the heck out of it, I sure did.

I ended up going with the corsa 14311 pro series. I kept listening to my brothers 06 GT and it sounds so sweet I figured it was worth the extra money.

I think Corsa sounds best, but I went with what I think is the next best thing...Zoomers. They have a deeper tone too.

I just got the exhaust today. I'll probably put it on this weekend. Then I'll get a clip or I'll try to get one of my brothers.
