I've got a chance to pick up a cheap 2 1/2" stainless steel Mangaflow cat back for my 89 Saleen. I've had Flowmaster 2 1/2" 2 chambers before, and they resonated so badly that I couldn't hear the radio. I was almost ready to put on the Flowmaster 3 chamber system, but the Magnaflow is all stainless. How loud is the Magnaflow, compared to the Flowmaster 2 and 3 chamber systems?
Thanks
Thom

Magnaflow is more of a quiet exhaust at idle or normal driving, it really shines at WOT tho. I have the 3 inch and i am happy with it, if you want something thats a lil louder try going magnapacks, my friends have them on their 02 and 03 GTs and it sounds raw.

the one thing about the magnapacks is that you need to have some flow tubes made for them because they do not have offset inlet/outlet like a standard bolt in muffler

Magnapacks arn't like mufflers, they don't need offset inlet/outlet's... they look like cherry bombs.. round tubes.

they dont have the flowmaster drone, but theres no perfomance gain, so if you want them just for the no drone sound get them, but they sound more like quite open headers/cherry boms, witch i personly dont like i rather have the flowmaster sound just a thought why not jut buy some dynomatt/sound dseadenr insted.....or sellk your 2 chambers and get 3 chambrs, as you caN see i dont really like magnaflows, i LOVE FLOWMASTERS but its all what you like, but i say stay with the flows

Magnaflow mufflers flow better than flowmasters. This is taken from the 94-95 FAQ sheet.
