which dual exhaust adds more horsepower to a stock v6, MAC catback or flowmaster?? i know when it comes to sound, flowmaster is better, but which adds more power, if any? is it true that flowmasters actually take away power? which do u think is a better bang for the buck?

Neither. Neither. No. Custom job with H-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. By the way, get a gt bumper.

Except for the part about using Flowmasters. Go MAC. Borla would be the ideal if price isn't a factor.

Also, I don't see how a GT bumper is really worth the money. I've never had anyone say anything about my setup(or the thousand others V6's here in Orlando running duals with a stock bumper). Everyone just likes the sound and admits that it's better than the stock tailpipe.

If I could do it all over again though, I would definately do side exhaust with Cobra R-style tips.

Isn't the Flowmaster much louder than the MAC? Anyways if you're gonna get the dual exhaust might as well pay for the GT rear bumper...it would much better than having the stock bumper.

MAC Straight Flowpath Catbacks have one of the highest flows of any mufflers around. My stang actually is breathing a little too well.....not sure what to do about that but its running fine.
