Exhaust question

I have an 02 gt with magnaflow exhaust and catted x pipe.I am wanting it to be a little louder and deeper, more so at idle, but not over the top.Since i do not go threw emmisions,if i took out the cats would i get the sound i am looking for or will it sound bad.And how will it effect performance?

Since you have an x-pipe.. chances are taking the cats off are going to give you way more volume, but possibly some raspiness.. if you want a deep tone you really should swap to a catless h-pipe.

Im getting a catted bassani xpipe, i want loud raspiness, but i need catted cause of emissions, any idea on cat back system, i was looking into the dynomax ultraflows, any suggestions, sorry for the hijack

h pipe will give you the deep sound your looking for.. also consider longtubes

I have O/R bassani X and Flows, Its loud, Deep, and Raspy it sounds really good, if you lose the cats it will get louder, and it should be the sound you are looking for
