i plan to redo my entire exhaust setup using racer walsh headers and a flowmaster muffler

my question is this

if i replace the two factory catalytic converters with one high flow converter will i still pass emissions?

You should...as long as it has a good tune.

Get that OEM one off of there!

I don't know about Texas, but I removed both cats and replaced them with one from Magnaflow. I passed (PA).

how much performance can be gained by getting a performance cat? cuase i want all new pipes for my car, probably with a trush resonator instead of a muffler, and a local muffler show will do all that for around 200$. and i have heard the performance cats are expensive.

Just above 3,500 RPM. Nothing major. I did it mainly for looks and to get some know-how before I get into other projects.
