Exhaust question

Would an exhaust setup from a 1997 GT would fit my 1998 GT. My friend is selling his setup and I wanted to know if I can put his setup on my car? Anyone know?:SNSign:

it should. and if it doesnt, the exhaust shop knows how to use a welder and a torch. so go for it.

It should. I believe that the only difference between the two, is that the '98 has 2 1/2" tips where your '97 has 2 1/4".

my tips on my 96 were 2.5"

Then they aren't original. Any GT Mustang earlier than '98 had 2 1/4" exhaust tips from the factory.
