Hey guys i have mac mufflers right now with an X pipe im thinking of switching to flowmaster two chambers 40 series instaed was told it would sound better and louder is this true? anyone can agree with this?
Probably sound about the same. Certainly not worth changing from one poor quality muffler to another.
Besides, changing mufflers only in a catback can be a serious PITA.
Flowmaster catbacks are cheap, so by the time you bought the mufflers and paid a shop $100 to put them in, you are 3/4's of the way to a new flowmaster catback that can be bolted on yourself in the driveway.
