exhaust question

i have a 2000 auto. mustang gt with flowmaster 40's and i recently bought a o/r x pipe and when you get on the gas it really sounds bad i was wondering if i should get the dynomax super turbo muffler. would it sound any better or what should i do?

Any X-pipe paired with flowmasters sounds like **** IMO

Ditch the flows and go with a straight-thru muffler.

Dynomax Super Turbo's are HARDLY if any louder than stock mufflers.

A straight through type muffler is generally accepted as the best sounding muffler for a X pipe, but I happen to really like my UPR X and Mac catback.

What you have is a EXHAUST LEAK.

If you have a BBK o/R X i will buy it from u.

Im about to get the bbk o/r X and flowmaster setup and it sounds kick ass. heard it in person lastnight

Maybe you have an exhaust leak like someone mentioned?

X pipes sound raspy. Because of the flowmaster's design and how they are made to reverberate the sound, when combined with an X pipe they sound pretty bad.

Slp and X pipes sound REALLY raspy, don't go for that either.
