Well, my 21st birthday is coming up, so i'm looking to get myself some Borla Stingers. Any one know where I can get just the stinger mufflers, not in a catback? I think the catback is out of the price range... but I love the sound with the prochamber. Will the sound change at all coming through the stock 2 1/4" piping as opposed to a 2 1/2"? Thanks guys.

I belive you can get just the stingers through Summit racing..I too like the sound of the stingers, but they dont make a stinger cat-back for my year model. As far as the piping goes, yes, there will be a slight sound difference between the 2 1/4'', and the 2 1/2''...Only slightly noticeable. Just get some 2 1/2'' flow tubes, and tailpipes..Thats what I'm going to do.

I don't see the "stingers" on summits site, are they the performance turbo or the XR-1 mufflers? Whats the difference between the two, one louder than the other?? I don't know too much about borla's lineup of parts.
