Exhaust

It's a matter of preference. I liked the way the American Thunder (aka two chamber) Flows sounded on my '94 GT, but it was pretty quiet. The cats muffled quite effectively. The MAC would probably be a bit louder. I have the MAC on my current GT, but the fit is crappy and they're already rusting out. I'll be switching to Magnaflow eventually.

My MAC system bolted up perfect and had no fitment issues. It sounds deep and mean and is definatly louder than two chamber flows. I dont know where u are located but here in sunny san diego i have had my MAC system for a year and a half and have almost no rust.

I'm in Oregon. No salt, just water, and the pipes are quite rusty, especially the tips. The fitment isn't *horrible*, it's just that the bevel of the tips is completely skewed, looks a bit silly.

thats such and open ended question so how can anyone really answer it? It all depends on your prefrence. You can get 5 people to say one exhaust system sounds the best and 5 other diffrent people to say that it sucks. Why dont you go to www.mustangexhuaust.com and listen to some sound clips yourself and make the decision on your own and not based on what everyone else "thinks"

I'd say don't go with flowmaster or MAC. MAC will last you all of a year before it rusts out and is a horrible fit. Flowmaster sounds alright, but it's still not stainless and has no warranty. I'm all for Magnaflow and Bassani, my entire system is magnaflow right now (with the exception of headers). I have sound clips in my sig. if you wanna know what magnaflow sounds like.
