Shoot.....don't even run the headers. Just let the exhaust shoot out the side of the heads.
Has anyone actually ever done this?
It's been tried before. Last I heard, it did something weird like sucking air and it wound up burning valves ... not to mention it would gag a driver and cause unconsciousness/death from carbon monoxide poisoning.
Last time I started up a Fox with an off-road H-pipe and no mufflers, it sounded like a tractor.
