i now have mac dumps on my 91 foxbody but the smell is horribleinside the car will turn downs on the mufflers help? or do i need tails back on the car if i dont want the gas smell inside?
tailpipes out the back will help. Do you have cats? If not, there isn't much you can do short of installing cats. Kinda the reason i put mine back on. Smelling like gas when you get out of your car kinda gets old
Thanks guys and no i dont have cats i have mac equal length headers,,mac pro chamber and mac mufflers.. how much quieter is it gonna get when i put the tail back on i still want a good sound... any suggestions? or will it sound good?
With tailpipes it will quiet it down a bit. I have mac produmps with a mac o/r h-pipe and loved the sound. When inspection came around I was forced to put some tailpipes on and am a bit disappointed. The car still sounds good but not as good. Put it this way driving through parking lots I used to set off alarms at 5 mph. now I cant even get an alarm to chirp.
