My 95 GT was straight piped by the previous owner and I'm planning on getting exhaust soon. I've decided to go with the Mac Prochamber and these Magnaflow Mufflers MagnaFlow 11226 - MagnaFlow Performance Mufflers - Overview - SummitRacing.com . I was wondering if anybody had anybody had any other suggestions on mufflers that would sound good with the prochamber. I want something that has a nice low rumble at idle but sounds loud when you get on the gas.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

Very good choice on both. I think that will give you exactly what you want. If you decide you need to replace the whole cat back, Jeg's and Summit sell the Dynomax UltraFlow SS 3.5" cat back for $349.00. It's basically the same muffler as the Magnalflow. It also will give you 2.5" exhaust all the way from the headers back with the ProChamber.

Ya after the straight pipes I'm looking for something a little quieter lol. Plus the tickets out here in CA for exhaust are ridiculous.

Anybody have any opinions on Mac flowpaths and know where i can buy them?

she has longtubes, o/r h pipe and mac catback. its not crazy loud but its far from quiet. it does have real nice tone to it but since it is a 5.0 car, it does have that slightly choppy idle (even with stock cam). very nice sound under throttle, similiar to that of flowmaster but a little different.

a catted mid pipe & flowpaths would probably give you what you are looking for

i like magnaflows and flowpaths both. two totally different sounds.

magnaflows are going to be better quality but the flowpaths will be cheaper.
