So im looking at doing my exhaust, and starting with a mid pipe, i found a video of an off road mid pipe and stock everything else. my question is, when starting the exhaust process should i start with the mid pipe, then headers, then mufflers? Or I was thinking mufflers, headers/midpipe. Im not going to do it all at once, so let me know what you guys have had good luck with, and what you think the best order to do things is

Why dont you just get cat back first and then get your headers.

Are headers really that much of a bitch to put on s197s or does it go fairly smoothly if I were to do it myself. I have a lot of experience with cars but I've never taken a block off the mounts and for 600 bones to install it, I'd be willing to give it a shot

I'd start from the mufflers, but it really will be cheaper if you just save and get it all at once.

Hpipe is throatier, old school muscle sound. Xpipe is more rasp and crackle. few more hp from xpipe. Not worth the sound compromise in my opinion.

h pipe is little bit and sounds harsh and noisy. while X pipe is new and sounds like crackling device and in different variations.

Generally, the biggest problem is lengthening the harnesses to reach. If you still run pre and after-cat sensors then you shouldn't have any problems. If you eliminate the cats then you'll need to install MIL eliminators in place of the after-cat sensors.

Okay, i just ordered LT headers, about to order an O/R H pipe...can anyone post a link of MIL eliminators that will work with this? Also, what has all of your experiences been for the do-it-yourself-ers? I plan on following this

okay so after further research i have found that they dont make MIL eliminators for 2010, so i bought the pacesetter LTs, and plan on using this H pipe
http://www.americanmuscle.com/pacesetter-orhpipe-0510gt.html
is that all i need? or do i need gaskets, clamps, etc? Thanks
