Well I recieved my custom tune from Brent @ Brenspeed. All I have to say is wow the car is completely different. Tons of low to midrange torque and it pulls nice on the topend. His tune made a huge different in the cars behavior. The SOTP pants feeling is very noticable. I have had tunes from BAMA chips and was not happy. I realize that many people do have a BAMA tune and are very happy with the results. I just know that the Brenspeed tune is awesome. I would recommend Brenspeed to anyone who is looking for a SCT tune for their Mustang. I drove the car from Orlando to Savannah, approx. 280 miles. I actually got better gas mileage than I did with my original canned tune from SCT ( Where you pick your fuel type, intake used, etc). I would usually average 22-23.5 mpg @ 75-90 MPH. This last trip I averged 23-24.9 MPG at the same speeds. So I have to say that I am extremely happy with the results.

My experience was very similar. Plus, Brent is really easy to work with.

I think he was meaning that Brenspeed gives you free tunes if you buy the parts from them.

sorry i got that confused. here is the page about their tunes, which I am sure you have seen, but I'll post it anyways for anyone else that is curious:

http://www.brenspeed.com/customtuning/

Snippet:

$30 per tune
This includes tuning re-work for exhaust. Often this is not needed so contact us to find out if you need re-tuned.

$40 per tune
This includes tuning re-work for the addition of air intake systems. Most air intakes do require re-tuning. Remember this is no charge for this re-work if you purchased your Xcal2 and new intake at Brenspeed.

$75 per tune
This includes creating new tunes for the addition of Charge Motion Delete Plates.

$185 per tune (this price could be higher based off of application. Call for quote)
This includes creating new tunes for the addition of an aftermarket supercharger or high horsepower nitrous application.

FYI, that is for parts that were not purchased at BRENSPEED, but the original tune was from BRENSPEED.

I agree new to the forum myself, but I bought a 2007 Mustang GT/CS 1 month ago.I did same thing I got a sct tuner excal 2 from brentspeed and tunable cai.It really wakes the car up for sure.I drove the car 2 weeks waiting for my tune and cia.I installed it less than 1 hour with tune already running 93 octane since day 1 and man like a different car.By the way I own 87 ford mustang notchback(mint) with 347 dss stroker kit and block alll the goodies(afr heads, fti custom cam, edlebrock performer 2 intake, etc) but i have to say new mustang are fun to drive.I bought an 2005 mustang gt for my wife over a year ago and then she decided wanted a suv, well i fell in love new style mustang.Lets just say i'm happy now i got excactly what i wanted a GT/CS is really nice i get compliments everywhere i go.

Another satisified Brenspeed customer? I had NO DOUBTS! Glad you're happy with it. Their tuning is AWESOME!!

Anyone can call and talk to either Brent or Dave anytime about tunes, parts, etc. Brent is the owner and Dave is the installer. Brent does not support or offer tunes for Diablosport- he only does SCT software. Give him a call for your SCT needs and tell him Tom from Decatur says hi!
