I have a 1994 GT and am looking to do some upgrades.
  • Pulleys
  • Headers
  • Intake Manifold

wanted to know, what kind of headers would be better for my car. The shorties or unequal or what, I know they help with about 17 to 20 hp but I need to know what is the best way to go and also legal in Cali for street driving.

Next, Intake manifold, would I be able to get one and expect any decent hp gains?

I want to go from 220hp to 260, without super / turbo. What other hp gains should I look into for my car (i already have air intake)

shorty headers come in equal and un equal. i don't think theres a big enough diff in the two power wise to matter much. i've heard the un equals take up a little less space and are easier to install......but can't comment personally as i have equal lenths.

intake manifold will help some........between 10 and 20 hp depending......and the type of manifold you get depends on what your going to do with the car down the road as which is the better to get

to get 260 rear whell horsepower you'll need to do something with the heads.....after market or have the stock ones worked over.

if you already have a manifold a bigger maf meter and tb may give you some, but there comes a point where to get much more you have to do something with the heads.

what gears are you running?? most will tell you to start there after doing some exaust stuff.

usually it goes gears/exaust first then the other stuff...

can you rec a good set of piston heads that I might look into? I don't want a race car, just a 94 gt with a few bolt ons to put me ahead of stock 94 - 04 GT's.
