i purchased a mustang and in the hatch there was 2 upper intakes. One is a little larger than the other one. could this be an explorer intake? whats a sure way to tell? Thanks.

That's kewl... just post em up when you get em. You can also post up some casting numbers... Some of these guys keep lists around for that sort of thing.

You might also try plugging the casting number into Google.

if it was a trickflow, edelbrock, etc i'm sure you'd be able to see the name on it. so my guess is its either a explorer, cobra or stock intake. does it have circular ports staggered on the bottom? cause that would eliminate stock. If one side (the side opposite the throttle body) of it is covered in little fins on the side its an explorer. i think the cobra intake was just rounded off on the side (opposite the throttle body).
