explorer motor oil system setup.

Im looking at how im gonna do this, has anyone done a swap before? i realize that i have to swap teh oil pans, but how about the pickups and the oil pump?
also, hows that oil filter crap work? do i need a fitting, or can i just swap my old one out? thanks

I put a 94-95 pickup and pan and a new FRPP M-6600-M50 production oil pump on my FRPP M-6009-B50 explorer short block assy.

The insert for the oil filter is Ford part #F1AZ-6890-B $6.69 from my local dealer. It's a 7/16 hex that gets torqued to 20-30 lb-ft.
