explorer rear end

is an explorer rear end the same as a mustang? i can get an explorer rear end for 86 bucks with 410 gears. will it work or should i just buy it and put the gears in my car

you can use the center section and gears in your mustang if you use 31 spline axles

You can't use any because they were either leaf spring rears or independant rears.

All you can use is the carrier if it's an 8.8. Depending on the year it's 31 spline

ok yeah i went to the junkyard and they totally look different. i found a few sets of 373's but no 410s
