Just bought an export brace online. Looks like it goes under the shock tower shock mounts.
What's there now are the stock braces on my 65 fastback.
My question is can you put the export brace right over the top of the existing braces since they bolt on to a bracket that is welded to the shock towers. Or do I need to remove those brackets in order to install the export brace?
Also, how do I go about removing the rocker moldings? I would like to get rid of them and put a gt stripe on instead.
