Extra Mod Dilemma - 3 options

i've seen pics of used ones and they dont look that bad. But who knows, might just get HID's since paying $350 or so for ceramic shorties is not worth it at all

for $350 why dont you buy something that will help you out in the long run.

for $350 you could get some MM LCAs plus a HID kit.

i promise you will have more fun and notice more of a improvement with LCAs over Some Shorties.

I don't know what blower you are considering, but my research on the subject say's that with a KB the shorties are best. Not sure why, but they seem to give more power than lt's,at least in the 450 to 500 hp range

just had to throw this out here

Shorties is a step in the wrong direction, money you'd spend that you should save.
:D

so you may come around now? lol just screwin wit ya.

Shorties mane! *As long as you can find them for cheap!!* Trust me...i know you're against the bang for buck aspect, but when its all said and done, you'll be glad you finished off the exhaust. All headers, even shorties, compliment nearly every other mod on the car even if its not huge amount of power.

BTW, if you are going the HID route, may i suggest buying cheaper HID kit. I dont know if you've ever used aftermarket kits, but FYI, all of them run into problems at some point....whether it be the flickering, shaking over bumps, bulbs that ignite wrong, ballasts that get fried while turning on and off, ballasts humming, bulbs not fitting right in headlight housings, etc. I've wasted so much money on them, that in the end i found it was cheaper to just buy a $75 kit and replace it with a brand new one if it fails, still paying less than the price of what many places charge for a single kit. The more expensive ones have just as many problems with ballasts and bulbs as the cheaper ones. I'm on my 4th kit now...and i've found from both my experiences and my friends' experiences with kits, no matter how much you spend on them, ALL aftermarket HID's seems to fault at some point (faster than OEM HIDs would).... just throwing that out there.... Or maybe i just have really bad luck

I stand by that statement, cuz 98% of the time this includes install. And if you're going to have to install on engine it's never worth it. What i'd be doing is putting them on a bare head then putting the head on the car. Easier than even transferring the stockers

BTW the $130 HID kit comes with lifetime warranty, free replacement

ah i see. i got my frpp's for 250 brand new so i cant really complain... and not having a jack or jackstands at my new apartment, i was still able to find the cheapest install i've ever heard of from any shop...by working my marketing/business magic on the owner of the shop :D

thats good! HID's from where? if you dont mind me asking... im interested!
most sites i've dealt with wont stand behind their warranties, claiming misuse, incorrect install, and so on...
