Extra wire on automatic harness?

I just compared the ignition wiring harness of a 1992 2.3L 5spd to a automatic. The automatic has extra wiring (3 wires) that plug into the drivers side of the tranny. What is this wire for? Is it possible to put the 5spd harness on the automatic car?

yes, it is possible to put a 5sp in. Those wires arn't used as I recall, but check stingers swap info on his page.
the wires are for controlling the converter lock up and the 2-3 upshift.

I want to put the 5spd harness in an automatic car... and from what you told me I guess its not possible.
