I have an 89 gt with gt40 irons, new lifters, new comp springs, an F cam, and I want to use 1.7's. I put them on and the made a click, took off the valve covers and had to remove the baffel. Still very noisey, took them off again and there is a lot of play between the push rod and rocker arms, stock push rods. Is anyone running this combo? How much play should there be? What length do I need?
