Hey all, id want to start an F303 cam thread. I just want to see some quick cars that have that cam in their combo. Yes, i already know a custom cam is the best so please dont suggest that. I bought my car with the cam already in it, so i probably wont go custom for a while.
So post up your combo's and track times or hp/tq numbers!
thanks

I'm not sure if it's a fair comparison, but I'm using the f-cam on the setup in my sig with 8psi of boost. Hopefully my et will drop and my mph will go up a bit once I get appropriate tires.

I see you have the nittos drags...those are exactly what i have same size and everything. They suck!! I cant hookup for anything on the street or track. I cut a 1.77 60ft 1 time lol, everything else i was spinning to 1.9's

Yeah, back before the turbo setup I had no problems cutting consistant 1.7-1.8 60's on the stock longblock. It's damn near impossible now to do anything but spin. Even if I take it easy in first, once I get on it in second the tires let loose. Ahh, well...I don't drive it as much as I used to, so I'll be switching over to the new ET street radials next year.

man you guys are laying down some serious numbers!
Yea back when i had the e7's on i could just about dead hook on the street. Put the AFR's on and i cant ever hookup. I already have subframes, 70/30s, 50/50's, tubular upper and lowers so im pretty sure i should be able to hook decent with a stickier tire. Wouldnt hurt to get a tire with a taller sidewall either...

trick flow heads
f-cam
victor junior intake
5-speed
POS holley/quick fuel/barry grant abomination carb (cant even tell ya what size it was, lol)
MSD 6A and dizzy
shorty headers/OR x-pipe/flows
3:73s

12.6 on motor i forget the mph
since then i have a better carb and tuned the dizzy springs and advanced the cam timing for a little more low end torque. it should go atleast 12.4s on motor. also added a 150 shot and the car LOVES nitrous. it should hit mid 11s no problem and if i can get it to launch real good maybe low 11s.

Should dead hook on the street , when its not 40 degrees out like it is here now my car doesnt spin at all in first from a slow roll and can hook pretty good when the tires are hot from a launch.

some very nice times guys keep them coming!
O yeah i totally forgot to add that my car has an eibach pro-kit on it. No wonder i cant hook lol. I love the ride height of my car now, but i need some drag springs badly! How much lower do 4cyl springs sit than stock? Is there any drag springs that will also lower the car?
thanks

My 88 GT was my DD back in early 2000 or so....

It had the stock 115,000 long block to which i added

GT40 intake, F cam, 1.6 RR, AFPR, March Ram Air, O/R H pipe and Flowmasters, Underdrive pulleys, 70 mm TB, 4.10 gears, big n little drag lites, tremec 3550, msd ignition.

Still ran stock heads, stock headers, all the stock suspension, stock injectors and fuel pump, full interior, all steel....still speed density too.

launching @ 4900 on 28 x 12.50 ET Streets the car ran 12.39 @ 108mph (1.63 60 ft).
