O.k. I originaly wasn't gonna start a thred on this but since I WAS FAILED AGAIN TODAY!!! I decided to start it.

Friday I go to Randolph to get it inspected 'casue I wanted to get the car done before it gets really nasty outside. I'm in line for about 10 mins. 'cause I went at about 2:30 in the afternoon and nobody was really there. I am FAILED!!! for having bad tires and sequential taillights. They don't give me one of them mini rejected stickers. NO, I get a Gigantic red one the size of a passing one that says "48 HOUR FAIL" I had 48 hours to get new tires but 45 days to unhook the sequentials. O.k. fine so I go's to Pepboys in Parsippany. the cheap tires ($72 each the Futura Touring HR SE) are out of stock so I choose the next cheapest thing they had ($91 each Hankook Ventrus HRII). We can't install them tonight come back tommorrow. K go home have dad unhook the Sequentials (he built them from scratch and moddified my contol under the dash slightly) they don't blink like the stock but the don't sequence either so it worked. go back to Pepboys and have the tires installed. Go back to Randolph and wait 2 HOURS in line only to FAIL!!! again for "hood lights" ( I have those lighted washer nozzles) so no I have the standard sized rejected sticker and 45 days to put my stock washers back on (good thing I saved them). THIS IS TOTAL BULLSHYT NOW!THIS IS TOTAL BULL**** NOW! crapola

But i find it funny when they get in and start the car and the CAI is sucking so much air they get out and pop the hood look at it then try to close my hood, because unless you slam the hood it doesn't close so yeah....

K I forgot some stuff. If sequentials are illegal in Jersey then why hasn't an Jersey trooper or local cop stopped me yet when they FOLLOW me. and If washer lights are the same and cops know I have them then why haven't I been stopped for that either?

Cops don't follow me. I'm a good boy

**** them. After your next inspection, I would go and install your sequentials. Couldn't they tell you that you need to take your lighted washers off when you went there last time? They're gay.

Edit: Your stang is a 2002, right? So why do you have to go for inspection?

I plan on reinstalling everything when I pass. If I had left the shift boot on I would have been nailed for that too.

I bought the car in 2003 and it had a 2 year inspection period.

since I passed the OBD I should go cut my muffler off and put a giant fart can on the car. See ehat they have to say about that.

But It's ok I christened my new tires in their parking lot when I left. My dad went with me today and he flipped a **** in hte main office before we left in a big smokey cloud (dam I shoud've had my camera with me )

You should have. That would have been fun to see. Take some pictures of the failed inspection stickers. I'm curious on how they look. So did you pay for the tires or are they your Christmas gift. If you paid for it, as from some gears and a t-lok!

The stang was my christmas present 2/3 yrs ago even though I payed for the whole thing.

I got my 93 4banger for my 16th bday a few years back. But my 00 V6, I'm paying for. Of course, my dad is the primary lease holder so I could get 6.2% intrest instead of the 62% an 18 year old with no credit gets lol.

Why are sequentials illegal?!! I would definately make them show my where it says they fail.

We don't have inspection down here and we seem to do alright.

And another good question is when did you get it, how many miles were on it and how good of a condition was it?

I paid $1000 for it with 120,000 miles. It required no work when I bought it.

Since I've bought it, I've put about $3-4 grand in new parts on it.

The sequentials should NOT be illegal. They just flash when hazards/turn signals are on. I understand that they will eventually light to full power when the brake is on, and they will stay fully lit, right? That is the way yours work, isn't it?

PHP:
I have those lighted washer nozzles

Then there has to be stickers too, right?

Learn to play the DMV game and come prepared. Then switch everything back the way you had it. But realize that at any time the nice police officer can give you a ticket so, no bitching. You're gambling so be prepared to lose.
