will the fms F-303 camshaft fit into the stock short block of a 91gt? it has the TRW 4 valve relief pistons in it but im running 1.94 valved x303 heads im about to install it and want to double check before i bend a valve or something
Put a dab of clay, silly putty, or something like that on the pistons where the valves could possibly interfere, and install the heads, turn it over so it runs all 4 strokes, remove the heads, and mic the clay where the valvea left an impression. General rule of thumb is .100 on intake .080 on exhaust. Thats about the only way it can be checked for sure, unless someone as input with experience, and I would still check it anyway. I'd rather spend 2 days checking something than put it back together and slam a few valves into a piston.
