Couldn't find too much info on this as most boards will not allow a 3 letter search, however he we go.
On one of my 85 manual HO motors - I pulled out a cam with the number of K26 at the rear.
On the other 85 manual 5.0 HO, I pulled out a cam marked J22.
Both are 85 capris....
Now I have read on a truck forum that an 86 HO had a J22 cam, but can anyone tell me what these two different numbers really mean (as far as the supposidly year as well as what changes). Any info would be greatly appreciated.
I am going to post this on two other forums as I need this to get as much visibility and opinions as it can as I am very interested in the number meanings....
