Has anyone successfully adapted the Factory Panic alarm to become an armed Alarm System on an '04 Mustang? Since the panic FOB button honks the horn and flashes the lights, it should be an easy task to make the panic mode operate as a no cost alarm deterrent system. Anyone?

you have to get the ford alarm for that to work, there is an alarm module and sensors that work together.

I really like my clutch lock as a theft deterrent device. Only $65. Unless they flatbed it, my Mach is'nt going anywhere. They'd need a blow torch to get that thing off. No $2,000 stereo to steal either. Never bought a car alarm in my life. This will be the closest I ever get.

Sorry, no pics. I'm so stupid with computers I can't even put an avatar below my username. Maybe someone else can post one. But it's basically a seriously heavy duty piece of steel, iron, whatever. About 2 ft. long. One straight piece of steel, then a short crossbar, then another piece of steel half the size of the other straight piece. You hook the clutch with the half open end and then crank on this bar that comes out of the longer side of steel. It has a crows foot that plants on the floor board to make it impossible to move. The clutch is locked in the very most upward position. Immobile. Even if they hotwire it, it aint gonna stay started. You can also use it for the brake if you have an automatic. Probably a bad explanation, but that's the best I can do. It has a key to unlock it like no key I've ever seen before. Looks like a key with braille writing on the actual key, but that must be what unlocks it.

Personally...
I'd like something that looks like a 20 barrel shotgun that points ALL OVER THE inside of the car.

It should come with a little blinking LCD that displays...

"FUHHGETABOUDIT, Dont' press the clutch!"

But that's me.

If I can't have my stang, nobody gets it.

Yep. That's it. But mine is chrome, and that one does'nt look as heavy duty as mine for some reason. That one looks thinner.

"Dear Thief,

Please notice I left one of my keyfobs in the center glove box. If you could be so kind, please press the red panic button when you have a moment.

Thank you."
