What does everyones guage read after the car is warmed up in traffic? Mine usually reads just above the second notch but sometimes in traffic with the ac on it will go to halfway or even a little higher. I know I should get autometer but factory will do for now.

When I was using my stocker it would set just a bit under halfway when fully warmed up. I run a 180* thermostat. With my autometer it runs at about 2 needles width above 180*

if i let the fan kick on itself it goes just a little more than halfway, then goes just under the second notch from the bottom when it shuts off...

Mine runs at halfway until the t-stat opens and then it moves down a notch.

I second the between A and L. I am actually in the L region most of the time but I put 180 tstat and I went to the 3 core radiator and I have aluminum heads.

After changing the radiator and heads from the stock pieces I noticed that it went from top of A to middle of L

All of these temp readings are done in both 65* nights and 100*+ days.

I run a 180 and it doesn't go above the second notch, this should show you just how much the stock gauge varies.
The cooling system should go up to a certain level then stop, if it goes up further then there is a deficiency in the capacity.

I run about in the middle with a 180 degree stat, and on first notch with 160* stat
