Faded paint help

When I bought my black vert it had a bra on it. I hate the things on mustangs because they totally kill the lines of the front of the car. Anyway I am guessing it was on the car for quite a while and it faded the paint on the plastic parts of the bumper cover. What can I do to it to make it look better untill I paint next year?

Not too familiar with Mustangs but is the car single stage paint or clear coat?

If it is clear coat then "faded" (oxidized) paint is most likely not your problem, single stage paint might be faded. The problem with most bras is that they trap moisture between the bra material and paint, if it is not able to breath and evaporate then that moisture may do funky things with the paint.

Some things you can try is to take some paint polish and rub it on the area in question. If paint color comes up then you have single stage paint, if no paint comes up on the rag then you have clear coat.

I agree, good chance of long term moisture buildup. Also a good chance that the bra scuffed up the front end and needs to be buffed out.
