Help with identifying original owner

Hey guys, I have a 99 GT Vert that I bought a couple years ago as a roller. I was told it was a turbo race car at one point. I think the original owner was Mark Scott. When I bought the car the ECU had the name Scott written on it and there is a Mark Scott that registered a car on the yellow mustang registry.

Anyway, I would love to know the history of this car. It only has 63,000 miles on the chassis and there is some serious under bracing on it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have the carfax but that doesn’t tell me names. Unless there is another way to find the names of previous owners.

I obtained a repro of the orig window sticker from Ford which indicates the orig dealership that sold the car brand new.
I contacted the dealership [they are still around] with the VIN and they provided me with the orig owner along with copies of some orig service records that they had on file.
Instead of a window sticker you can also get a “Deluxe Marti Report”. That will also give you the original dealership info.
Maybe this path will work for you if the dealer is still around and “the right person” listens to your ask. I got lucky and maybe you can to.
