Faint Paint Shaker Sound at Low rpm

After the car has been driven a while, like 10-20 minutes on the freeway and you come to some real low speed driving like around parking lots and stop signs, there is a new noise that sounds a lot like a paint shaker if you've ever heard that before. It seems to be coming from the passenger side, but I'm not certain. If I sit there and go to 1200+ rpms I can hear it but not really at idle, otherwise I'd be able to find where it's coming from, can't move the TB with these drive by wire cars that I know of from under the hood. The sound is not very loud, but loud enough to notice that it's unusual.

This is a Saleen 3-valve (non s/c) but no engine work has been done, except when we first got this car we did the MMRV's or something, can't remember what they are called. My first though would be pulley or loose rocker. Anyone ever had a noise like this?

Hi MarcZ,

I have heard paint shakers, and know that must be annoying! If you are still hearing the rattle, I suggest visiting your dealer so they can diagnose it. Please let me know if I can help in any way. :)
