the previous owner lives in CA. i haven't gotten around to getting plates for it yet. i'm working towards it though

That is awesome. I'd love an old rag top to bomb around town in, get ice cream, etc. That Duplicolor stuff works good, my cousin re-did some rims with it. It's not a true chrome though.
I think the only thing I would do is open the exhaust up and put some 2 chambered flows on it, and run some stainless pipes straight out the back. I'm jealous.
