.....what did this guy do, steal the dash plaque of the real 00-228?? I know the engine plaques are plentiful on ebay and as you can see easy to fake, but what about that dash plaque?? Think he got a hold of the company who makes the plaque for Saleen and got them to make one for him?? I've seen that car in person at several shows and that's the first time he's had a dash plaque. Must be a new item...........

Look closer - he's using 00-0224 for an ID number - both underhood and dash/console... Does that number sound familiar to anyone else???

No doubt the car is gourgeous, and he's probably right, it's better than a serialized Saleen. My question is WHY? If you love the Saleen look etc that much and are have the cash to drop 10K on the paint, 5K on the body, 2K on wheels, 2K on interior, and on and on why not just get a Numbered S281 and go from there?
