Do you have the rubber 1/4 window covers? The ones that glue over the old ones when they dry out. I wish I could get my car to look that good, nice to see the pics looks good.

Thanks Dan P. They are the abs plastic covers from Steeda. I don't know if they are still selling them or not. I sent them an email asking them yesterday. Don't need new ones yet, but like to know my options. There is always someone selling them on Ebay though.

Love the bimini, i used to have one too before the family grew.

Steeda is not selling them anymore. I sure hope the ones on Ebay are ok.

Thanks for all the nice comments.

All original paint except for the roof and passenger side. She was hit pretty hard in 1999 by a red light runner, but the shop did a great job. Most people never know it or notice anything to give them a hint of being repaired.

Again, thanks for the compliments.

um...yea, i keep coming to pics of your car/engine showing off what a good looking mustang is supposed to look like.

When I install my cobra body kit, I am thinking going for a metallic blue paint, and then some nice chrome dual exhaust tips out the back with gunmetal ponies... any advice on keepin it pretty?

like specifc wax, or other things you use for detailing

Wax: I use Beats Um All. I started using it about 11 yrs ago. It doesn't leave any white residue and when you take it off, the dust stays in the cloth not in the air like most waxes.

http://www.beatsumall.com/paths/carproducts.html

Windows: Stoners Invisible Glass Cleaner

Tires: Eagle or about any slick tire spray. I use an applicator to keep it off the wheels.
Interior: Son-of-a-Gun for plastics/vinyl. Beats Um All makes a good all purpose concentrate for the carpet.

Engine: Castrol degreaser or Simple Green to clean. Then light spray of Son-of-a-Gun, making sure to keep alternator covered.

Detailing is just what it sounds like, it takes a concentrated attention to details. When getting started, commit to one area at a time.

When I was in high school getting ready for a show I would pick a day for the interior, and one for the engine, and one for the undercarriage, and one for the paint. I have also found the fewer supplies you have to use the better and easier to prepare.

Hope this helps some.

Toothbrushes/paint brushes, detail brushes always help for the cracks and such.
