Fan clutch... ?

I bought a new fan clutch to put on since my car starts to heat up when idling but stays normal when driving... I'm looking at the car and it doesn't seem like the fan clutch even belongs on there.. How does this thing go on?

therea are four bolts that hold it onto the water pump pulley. and then when you pull it out, their are 4 bolts holding it on to the plastic blade.
you will have to take the serp belt off too.

I had to remove the fan shroud at the same time as the clutch/fan assembly (I held the fan and clutch inside the shroud).

the fan clutch sits inside of the fan, and the shaft connects to the pulley and the pulley connects to the water pump. The newer fan clutches make the holes slotted so its easier to line up, which is a big difference from my expierence.

Dont let that fan hurt the cooling fins on your radiator when you remove it.
