I'm having some overheating issues

The coolant reservoir tank that is attached to the fan is leaking..

Do I need to replace the entire fan or just the tank attachment?

Also where can i find the tank attachment thingy, i looked on summit and couldnt find it..

I am also looking for suggestions for a new fan, housing of fan because mine is pretty old and busted up..

Thanks,
-rS

If its a stock clutch fan setup on your car you should be able to just buy the bottle from a place like www.50resto.com or www.foxmustangrestoration.com or on ebay.
If its an electric fan setup (conversion) youll have to figure out what the setup is from.

Agreed. The reservoir most-definitely is a separate item.

If your clutch and/or fan blade are also in bad shape, I'd consider spending money on the 3G and E-fan. A new fan blade and HD clutch will set you back some decent coin otherwise.

As an aside, you can use a universal radiator reservoir if you need to. Just about any container can be used (you just need to have the pick-up near the bottom of the container).

Good luck.

Thanks for the reply, It's still stock everything.. the fan blade itself is pretty messed up.
I'm just going to buy the tank reservoir and maybe a fan blade for now.. Does anyone know of any fan blades that fit in the stock black plastic fan housing thingie?

Thanks,

FAL makes a blade that works well as a replacement. It's metal and moves a lot of air (but it's loud). The correct number is FLX-5918 IIRC (confirm that if you decide to get one).

Good luck.
