Its me again. So, im looking for a relay for my 16' electic fan. I have went to all the local auto stores and the cheapest I can find is like $34.00. And its not that im cheap but I had to purchase a aluminum radiator and silicon hoses. so, Ive been looking on Ebay and craiglist for one and I was wondering if there is anything specific i need? Or what volts, brand, etc...

What kind of draw does the fan have? you could probably use a 40 amp SPDT/SPST relay for a little while. I would look for a Bosch 75 amp relay if you can (they're 25-30 shipped or so).

First the fan type is a "Imperial" from advanceauto. And I was reading the diagram and it is calling for a (25amp) so should I go with a 40?

And also I know foxes are known for hig temps in traffic and plus with me living in Florida it dont help. So I was wondering if there was a way to install a little fan for the the front of the radiator (as a pusher)?

It's calling for a 25 amp what? Fuse? Relay?

Do NOT go bigger than the recommended fuse.

You can use as large of a relay as you'd like however. If it calls for a 25 amp relay, a 30/40 amp relay from the parts store or audio store would work (for awhile anyhow).

A pusher can can be an impediment to flow at speed.

Does the fan have a CFM rating?

If the heat is too much, you might want to go with an OEM fan (3.8L Taurus, Mark VIII, etc).

Well I went with a 75amp relay. My buddy gave it to me from is old fox. So, I drove it all day and night today and the temp gauge was reading slightly under half way. But with the a/c off. When I turned the a/c on the gauge went up. But only during the day, and it did on city roads as well as highway. And suggestions? I went with the fuse size recommended. I believe it was 15...

If you have proper air flow over the radiator (if a GT, having the air dam, etc) and it is equally hot at speed or while stopped, it comes down to a simple heat rejection issue. More cooling capacity is the solution.

FWIW, I've never even seen a radiator fan that has a 15 amp fuse. The OEM's are generally fused for 60+ Amps.
You really need an aftermarket temp gauge to know what's going on.
