I have seen the ccrm mod - manual fan activation for low and high speeds. I have even seen where people directly wire the fan.

The question I have is: is there a way to trick the computer/ccrm into activating the fan to come on sooner say at 180 or something without a chip or piggyback.

It appears as if the fan comes on at or around, 205* in my car and shuts the fan off around 200*.

If you did something to turn on the fan by making the pcm think the ect is hotter than it really is.................

Many other things are controlled by the pcm based on ect as well.

Things like egr, isc, spark, fuel, etc

I wired mine with a relay that connects to the ignition. As soon as the ignition goes to on, the fan comes on. You run the fan a lot more, which will probably shorten the life of it, but it is one of the best mods I did.
