Ok, so in a thread a while ago I had stated that I have never seen my fan run on my car, even on a pretty hot day (like 90+ and humidity in the upper 90's) at idle while at operating temp. I never really thought much of it because my car doesnt get real hot even then. SO now I'm noticing that my A/C doesnt work while at idle, I'm getting no cold air, just hot air. So i come to learn that my fan doesnt work. I'm going to look into the fuses, but i dont know if the PCM controls the fan or not. Any ideas, if its not a bad fuse, what would cause this? My mechanic said it doesnt look like i have a pinched wire in the fender, where the wiring runs. Any ideas I can look into?

i had the same exact thing happen to me and it was the fan motor i ended up just going to a junk yard, finding a fan motor from a ford i have no idea which one but it plugged and fit into the shroud with np, $25 dollars and 20 minutes fixed my problem, its up to you how u fix yours, but i think that might be ur problem. Try turning ur fan by hand with the car cold and off!!! better yet disconect the battery so u dont lose a finger, so yea do that and try to turn the fan by hand if it doesnt turn its ur fan motor for sure, if it does then it might be a fuse or a wire somewhere shorted. my 2 cents. :flag:
