Would think it might work OK but the taurus fan is tried and tested to work good

i'm running a 96' thunderbird E-fan, it came with a 4.6 in the car so i figured it would work on my little 5.0, dont go cheap on the controller or you will regret it, adjustable is the way to go!! that particular fan required some major thinking and cutting to fit, it's kinda big too(not a bad thing unless it wont fit) so the motor sits slightly inside my balancer pulley, lol..but works great, the real test is to just let your car idle, my POS other E-fan wouldent work at all in daily driving, but once you hit the highway it was ok

I use one from a 3.8 Taurus and it does a great job. No sure of the cfm's of either fan though. Tom.
